生态割裂之中的青春萌动--从生态批评角度解读《少年迈尔斯的海》忧患意识

摘要

With the development of the human civilization, the problems between the environment and the ecological circulation become more prominent, such as the disappearing of living species, the deteriorating of environmental pollution. It is because of the focus on ecological problems, the literatures in 20th century have been motivated to expose and capture the deteriorating relationship between human and nature. The Highest Tide is the model of such kind of literatures. This article is trying to analyze the plots, characters, incidents and environment as well, so that the theme of worrisome in the novel can be disclosed and the writer’s insights about all the problems can be displayed.%　　随着人类社会文明的推进，环境和生态问题越来越明显：物种越来越少，污染越来越严重……正是在这种生态关注的基础上，20世纪文学领域掀起了展现人与自然关系的生态关注与批评狂潮，美国小说《少年迈尔斯的海》正是此类文学的重要代表。文章在理解文学生态批评理论的基础上，通过对《少年迈尔斯的海》的小说环境、发生事件和人物形象等进行分析，力图还原吉姆•林奇小说的忧患主题，展示吉姆•林奇对人与自然、人与社会、成长等现实问题的深刻洞察力。
