学术世界的寄居者：美国大学兼职教师的生存写照

摘要

兼职教师在美国高等教育领域是一个被人忽视的群体，他们身处学术世界的底层，忍受着被排斥与边缘的寄居者身份。寄居在学术世界的兼职教师面临以下生存困境：二等公民的就业身份、专业价值被严重低估，排除在治理圈外，这种寄居生涯不仅会削弱兼职教师的职业能力、无法提供高质量的教学，而且还会损害学术共同体的传统，影响到高等教育的持续发展。%Part‐time teachers are a neglected group in US higher education system . They are at the bottom of academic world , enduring rejection and margin position . Part‐time teachers , as exiles in the academic world , face the following survival dilemmas :employment status of second‐class citizens , severely underestimated professional value , exclusion from the circle of governance . The exiles identity will not only weaken the professional ability of part‐time teachers , making it impossible to provide high quality of teaching , but also damage the tradition of academic community , affecting the sustainable development of higher education .
