The drama clearly revealed that the scheme and corruption of traitorous ministers at court has made one of the root causes of Liangshan uprising, furthermore, Liangshan characters began to have a new understanding of the ＂thieves＂ identity. Qing Legend Water Margin drama ＂Tou Jia Ji＂ still inherits the value of the Ming Dynasty scholar-officials, keeping loyalty, filial piety and righteous character, pursuing political achievement and fame still make up the core values of the Liangshan characters.
