从电影《刮痧》透视中西方面子观的差异

《刮痧》是一部颇具代表性的反映中西文化差异的影片，片中充分展现了中西文化的冲突和融合。通过用Goffman的面子定义和Stella Ting -Toomey的面子协商理论分析了影片中表现出来的中西方面子观的差异，并进一步分析了因对面子观的不同理解而造成的交际障碍和文化隔阂，希望能为促进中西文化交流提供借鉴。%Guasha Treatment ,as a representative movie to demonstrate the differences between Chinese and western cultures ,fully displays cultural conflicts and cultural integration between China and western countries .Aimed at furthering the cultural exchanges between China and western countries ,this paper applies face definition presented by Goffman and face -negotiation theory by Ting -Toomey to the analysis of the differences on face value between China and western countries and miscommunication and cultural gap caused by different understand-ings of face value .
