基于南洋公学《蒙学课本》不同版本的新认识

         

摘要

After the Sino-Japanese War,in the call of many new schools,new textbooks compiled by school itself ap-peared constantly. The compiled by Nanyang public school is the most typical among them. It is the earlyest new Chinese textbook compiled by Chinese people. The books are rare in the world now, and researchers rarely find the books, which causes many mysteries in the book and a lot of misunderstanding in academic circle. The biggest mystery is that the author has not been confirmed,and academics tend to confuse the to the . The author starts from the various editions of his collection,and gives some clarification to some mis-understanding. But there are still mysteries to be solved.%甲午战争后,在雨后春笋般出现的新学堂的呼唤下,学校自编新式教材不断出现,其中以南洋公学的《蒙学课本》最为典型。它是中国人最早自编的新式语文教科书,开国人编撰现代教科书之先河。但因为该书存世极少,研究者很少看到实物,导致该书的谜团很多,学界的误解也很多。最大的谜团是作者没有得到证实,且学界往往把《蒙学课本》与《新订蒙学课本》混淆。笔者从自己收藏的多种版本出发,对某些误解给予了一定的澄清,但仍然有值得我们进一步去解开的迷。
