从“辟谗”的角度看儒家的德治与修身

摘要

The word slander is a verb, which can be used (together with other Chinese characters) to express many differ-ent meanings.For example, “making false damaging statements”; “accepting such statements blindly”; “ seeing through such statements” and “refuting and clarifying such statements”.Many Confucian classics have discussed its negative impact.According to Confucian, in order to refute and clarify a slanderous statement one has to be wise enough to see through it; to gain the public trust to execute his political ambition and plans; and to be a man of his own word.Enlightening Confucian ideas on “refuting and clarifying such statements” from both political and moral perspective can cast an unusual and new angle on Confucian ideas on ruling by virtue and self-cultivating.%“谗”是一个动态词，涉及进谗、听谗、识谗、辟谗多个层面，儒家经典中不乏对其负面影响的阐述。“明君拒谗”“得君行道”“知言忠信”是儒家辟谗的主要进路，从政治及道德两个面向阐发其辟谗的思想，能为儒家的德治与修身提供别样的观察视角。
