Transportation is the most stressful event for pigs prior to slaughter.This paper reviews the effects of road transportation on the welfare and meat quality of pigs.The factors such as loading density,transport duration,environmental temperature,driving or handling animals,and vehicle design were summarized and their main impacts on welfare (stress,fatigue,dehydration and mortality) and meat quality after slaughtering were discussed.%运输是猪宰前最易受到应激的阶段.与运输应激相关的问题有猪的皮肤擦伤、死亡、脱水疲劳和宰后肉质的下降等.论文重点阐述和分析装栽密度、运输时间、极端温度、驱赶方式和卡车设计等因素对猪福利和宰后肉质的影响,并提出运输过程中改善猪福利和宰后肉质的措施.
