Objective To study the serum level of pepsinogen among population of Tianjin, and to explore the variation of serum levels of pepsinogen in different ages and genders, and the clinical significance of serum level of pepsinogen for early diagnosis of patients with gastric disease and gastric cancer. Methods Serum levels of PGⅠ and PGⅡ as well as PG Ⅰ /PGⅡ ratio( PGR )of 1484 persons were detected with enzyme linked immunosorbent assay( ELISA ), and their results were statistically analyzed by SPSS13.0. Results The serum levels of pepsinogen I, pepsinogen II and PGR of 1484 persons were 145.4 ±42.6 ug/L, 10.3 ±8. 2 ug/L and21.1 ±14.4 respectively, and the serum level of pepsinogen in residents with age younger than 40 years is significantly lower than that of residents with age older than 40 years. The statistical analysis showed that serum level of PG II was significantly different between male and female residents,but there was no difference in serum level of PG I. The abnormal rate of serum level of PG in residents with age older than 40 years is significantly higher than those residents with age younger than 40 years. The abnormal rate of serum level of PG in males was higher than that of females. Conclusion The statistical analysis shows that PG levels in younger residents are significantly lower than those of integral level in Tianjin, and the abnormal rate of serum level of pepsinogen was raised following the increase of age, and the abnormal rate of males is higher than that of females.%目的 研究天津地区人群血清胃蛋白酶原(PG)含量水平,探讨其在不同年龄段和性别间的变化规律,以及血清PG对胃部疾病和胃癌早期筛查的诊断价值.方法 用酶联免疫吸附实验(ELISA)对1 484名人员进行血清胃蛋白酶原亚群(PGⅠ、PGⅡ)含量测定,对检测血清PGⅠ、PGⅡ、PGⅠ/PGⅡ比值(PGR)(PGⅠ/PGⅡ)进行统计分析.结果 统计1 484人血清PGⅠ含量为145.4±42.6 μg/L、PGⅡ含量为10.3±8.2 μg/L和PGR结果为21.1±14.4;40岁以下人群血清PGⅠ和PGⅡ含量低于40岁以上人群和整体人群的血清PG水平;另外,男性与女性血清PGⅠ含量无显著差异,而血清PGⅡ含量差异显著;40岁以上人群血清PG异常率高于40岁以下人群,男性血清PG异常率高于女性.结论 目前天津地区年轻人居民的血清PG含量较整体水平偏低;随着年龄的增长PG异常率也明显升高;而且男性PG阳性率明显高于女性.
