疯癫与文明——《李尔王》中的疯癫意象研究

摘要

There are many mad images in Shakespeare＇ s tragedies ; King Lear reflects almost all kinds of madness in Shakespeare＇ s tragedies. This paper is based on the adoption of close reading, to analyze the mad image in King Lear and to convey madness cultural meaning. Shakespeare does not negate the madness, his madness does not necessarily been seen as a disease, it is just another state of existence, it is the civilization and progress which have to pay the price.%莎士比亚的悲剧作品中有很多疯癫形象。《李尔王》这部悲剧作品几乎体现了莎翁悲剧中的各种疯癫类型，本文拟在此基础上通过文本细读，分析《李尔王》中的疯癫意象，并就此分析莎翁的疯癫意象所传达的文化意蕴。莎翁笔下的疯癫，只是另外一种生存状态，是“文明”进步所需要付出的代价。
