生态环境关系着人类的生存与发展。迄今为止，学界对中国近代生态环境史的研究成果颇多，研究内容主要集中于三个方面：生态环境遭到破坏的原因分析，生态环境恶化的表现及影响，生态环境的保护和治理。尽管学者在近代中国生态环境领域的研究成果已相当丰硕，涉及的范围也比较全面，但是成绩背后仍潜藏着研究内容不全面甚至有盲点、研究方法单一等局限性。这些问题表明，对中国近代生态环境的研究有必要进一步完善和提升。%Ecological environment has a close relationship with the existence and development of human beings. And spheres of learning have made great achievements about this issue in China, so far. To sum up, these achievements mainly focus on three aspects ： the reasons for the destruction of ecological environment ; the manifestations and influences of ecological environment＇s deterioration; the protection and improvement of ecological environment. Although scholars＇ researches in this field have scored great successes and involved all-round scopes, there are still incomprehensive points or even blind spots, such as the limitations of a single research method. All above bespeak that the studies about the ecological environment of modern China need improving.
