叶芝诗歌中的自然意象在表现时间强大破坏力的同时，还通过其神秘性、神圣化和空间化展现出抗争时间和挑战时间的方式，体现了诗人独到的时间观。自然意象诗歌呈现出爱尔兰西部地理空间中的植物、动物和风景，并深刻地揭示了统摄叶芝诗歌整体性的时间主题，还在某种程度上实现了叶芝诗歌时间主题的空间转向。%The natural images in Yeats’s poetry embody Yeats’s special view of time,which are inseparably connected with time’s destructive force and some ways available to escape from time’s destruction by their mystification,sanctification and spatialization.Various plants,animals and sceneries permeating Yeats’s poetry in Irish western space reveal deeply the theme of time that governs the wholeness of Yeats’s poetry, and to some extent,achieve the spatialization of the theme of time in Yeats’s poetry.
