“Think-Pair-Share”英语口语教学模式的实证研究

             

摘要

以主动学习理论和合作学习理论为基础,以大学一年级学生为研究对象,尝试在大学英语口语教学中引入“Think - Pair - Share”教学模式。通过前测—实验—后测的实验方法对学生语言输出的质量进行对比分析。研究发现,实验组通过相关训练后,较之控制组在语言的准确性和范围、话语长短和连贯性、语言灵活性和适切性三个方面均具有显著提高,其中以话语长短和连贯性的提高最为突出。研究结果同时表明“Think - Pair - Share”模式更适合人数较少的班级。%" Think - Pair - Share" is one of the most popular class organization modes. Its name can be traced to the three steps students take in the class. This study is based on the active study and collaborative study theories and tries to introduce " Think - Pair - Share" mode into college oral English class. Through pretest,experiment and postest,the study,with the first - year college students being selected as research subject,probes into the validity of the mode. It shows that the mode improves the accuracy,fluency and flexibility of studentsˊ oral English. Besides,it is suggested to implement " Think - Pair - Share" mode in smaller classes.
