An English speaking evaluation system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a user terminal including one or more function modules; a service server for receiving and processing information input from the one or more function modules; and a network for providing communication between the user terminal and the service server, wherein the service server comprises: a communication unit for providing communication with the user terminal; a storage unit for storing input information and information necessary for evaluation; and a control unit for receiving a voice from the user terminal to generate text and analyzing a syntax of the generated text to perform evaluation on the basis of a result of the analyzing.
