科技英语词汇中人体和动物隐喻的人际功能

科技英语词汇中存在大量的隐喻。词汇隐喻不但具有重要的认知功能，还有不可忽视的人际功能。一方面，科技英语词汇隐喻能将抽象的科学信息和科学活动具体化，有利于科学知识的传播；另一方面，科技英语词汇隐喻能缩短作者和读者的心理距离，是科学家劝说公众的工具。其中，人体隐喻和动物隐喻的人际功能表现得尤为明显。对科技英语词汇隐喻的正确认识和准确运用，对科技英语语篇的写作和阅读有重要意义。%There are abundant metaphors in scientific English lexis. Lexical metaphors not only have significant cognitive function, but also are means of conveying interpersonal meanings. On the one hand, metaphors in scientific English lexis can make the abstract scientific information and activities more specific, which is vital to the spread of scientific knowledge~ on the other hand, metaphors in scientific English lexis can shorten the psychological distance between writers and readers, which serves as a tool to persuade people to accept the scientific ideas. Among them, the interpersonal functions of body metaphors and animal metaphors are more apparent. The correct understanding and accurate use of metaphors in scientific English lexis are of great importance to the reading and writing of scientific English texts.
