[Objective]The aim of this study is to investigate the variation of M gene in porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) strains emerged in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei province in recent years.[Methods]The complete M gene of three PEDV strains from several diarrhea samples of piglets from Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei province,respectively,was amplified by RT-PCR.After cloning and sequencing,their sequences were analyzed.[Results]The gene sequences showed that the M gene of all the three PEDV strains was 681 base pair in size,the nucleotide homology among them was above 99.7%,and the three PEDV strains was of one cluster in phylogenetics.Although the three PEDV strains was different from earlier epidemic PEDV strains and the current vaccine strain CV777 in China in phylogenetics of the M gene,the nucleotide homology between them and other selected PEDV strains home and abroad was all above 96.5%.[Conclusion]The M gene of PEDV was still a good candidate for PEDV detection.%[目的]了解近年来京津冀地区猪流行性腹泻病毒(PEDV)流行株M基因的变异情况.[方法]用RT-PCR技术从京津冀地区部分仔猪腹泻样品中扩增与克隆3株PEDV流行株M基因全长序列,并进行序列测定和分析.[结果]基因序列结果显示,3株PEDV的M基因全长均为681 nt,其核苷酸同源性达99.7%以上,在系统发育进化方面属于同一簇.M基因系统发育进化关系显示,虽然这3株PEDV与中国以前PEDV流行毒株及疫苗株CV777属于不同的簇,但其与国内外其他PEDV参考毒株的核苷酸同源性均达96.5%以上.[结论]M基因仍然是检测PEDV的良好目的基因.
