David Mclellan, a professor at British University of Kent, is a well-known Marxist biographer and historian of Marxist philosophy and also is currently visiting professor of political theory at Goldsmiths’College, University of London and has been visiting professor at the State University of New York. Karl Marx: Selected Writings, edited by Mclellan, have an extensive popularity among English readers. Karl Marx:His life and thought, a more far-reaching masterpiece, made him a household name in academic circles. In addition, his Marx before Marxism, Marxism after Marx, and The Young Hegelians and Karl Marx are representative reference books of Marx study. During his stay in UK, Dr. Zang Fengyu had deep discussions around Marx’s political philosophy and British Marxist tradition with Pro. McClellan.
