Several indexes such as fasting blood glucose level, glucose tolerance, serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG) and high density lipoprotein cholesterin (HDL-C) in the experimental animal were tested after feed with millet bran to study the regulation of the dietary fiber on blood lipids and blood glucose. The results showed that compared with the control group, the fasting blood glucose level were significantly decreased in low and medium dosage groups (P<0.01), while was significantly decreased in high dosage group (P<0.01). The level of blood glucose and the area under the blood glucose curve in 0,0.5,2 h were significantly decreased in low dosage group (P<0.05). Serum total cholesterol was significantly decreased in medium dosage group (P<0.05). And the triglyceride and high density lipoprotein cholesterin in all treat groups had no significantly change.%以小米糠膳食纤维为原料,通过测定空腹血糖、糖耐量、血清总胆固醇(TC)、甘油三酯(TG)、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇(HDL-C)等指标,研究了小米糠膳食纤维对血糖和血脂的调节作用,结果表明,与对照组比较,低、中剂量组空腹血糖值差异极显著(P<0.01),高剂量组差异显著(P<0.05);低剂量组在0、0.5、2h时的血糖值和曲线下面积均低于模型对照组,且差异显著(P<0.05);中剂量组能显著降低血清总胆固醇水平(P<0.05);各剂量组对甘油三酯和高密度脂蛋白胆固醇的含量影响不大.
