由香港高等工程教育看“卓越工程师”的培养

摘要

According to experience of study and visit in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University,the differences of engineering education in Hong Kong and domestic,and how to cultivate ″ Outstanding Engi-neers″ in domestic are preliminarily expressed in the paper. Compared with domestic engineering education, there are relatively great differences in Hong Kong engineering education,such as curriculum,practice,cul-tural exchange,etc. In Hong Kong engineering education,the curriculum is more simple and efficient,the engineering practice and cultural exchange have greater emphasis,and students′autonomous learning is more important. The teaching content is followed to Washington Agreement and the quality of education is authorized by Hong Kong Institute of Engineers. Therefore,implementing professional certification according to interna-tional standard should be the direction of professional personnel cultivation in domestic science and engineering universities.%文章结合作者在香港理工大学的学习和参观经验，就香港与内地工程教育之区别和国内如何培养“卓越工程师”表达了几点粗浅的思考。认为与国内工程教育比较，香港工程教育在课程设置、实践环节、人文交流能力培养等方面均有较大区别，其课程设置更简捷高效、更重视工程实践与人文交流、更强调学生自主学习，其教学内容遵循《华盛顿协议》，教育质量由香港工程师协会审定。因此，按照国际标准全面实施专业认证，应是国内理工科高校专业人才培养的方向。
