食管鳞状细胞癌中β-catenin和MMP-7的表达及意义

摘要

Objective Through observing the changes of expression of β-catenin and MMP-7 in esophageal cancer, to analyze the correlation between the expressions and pathological classification, infiltration depth, metastasis of the carcinoma in oder to provide theoretical basis for evaluating the infiltration, metastasis of the carcinoma and the prognosis of patients with esophageal cancer. Methods The expressions of β-catenin and MMP-7 were detected by immunohistochemisty in 55 cases of esophagus squamous cell carcinoma tissues and 15 cases of normal esophagus tissues. Results The abnormal expression rates of β-catenin in esophagus squamous cell carcinoma tissues and normal esophagus tissues were 61. 82% and 6. 67% respectively, and abnormal expression rates of MMP-7 were 69. 09% and 13. 33% respectively, there were significant differences between the two kinds of tissues ( P＜0.05 ). The abnormal expression of β-catenin in esophageal carcinoma tissue was closely correlated with cell differentiation degree and lymph node metastasis ( P＜0. 05 ), however, which was not related to the patients' sex, age and infiltration degree ( P＞0. 05 ). The abnormal expression of MMP-7 in esophageal carcinoma tissue was closely correlated with cell differentiation degree and the depth of lymph node metastasis and infiltration ( P＜0. 05 ),however, which was not related to patients' sex and age ( P＞0. 05 ). The abnormal expression of β-catenin was related with that of MMP-7 at certain extent ( P＜0. 05 ). Conclusion The positive expression of β-catenin and MMP-7 in esophagus squamous cell carcinoma tissues plays an important role in pathogenesis, development and metastasis of esophageal carcinoma.%目的 探讨β-catenin和MMP-7蛋白在食管癌组织中的表达变化及与病理学分级、浸润深度和淋巴结转移的关系.方法 应用免疫组化方法检测β-catenin和MMP-7蛋白在55例食管鳞癌组织及15例食管正常组织中的表达.结果 (1)β-catenin在食管鳞状细胞癌组织和食管正常组织中异常表达率分别为61.82%和6.67%;MMP-7在食管鳞状细胞癌组织和食管正常组织中异常表达率分别为69.09%和13.33%,两者比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);(2)β-catenin在食管癌组织中异常表达与细胞分化程度及淋巴结转移有关(P<0.05),但与患者的性别、年龄和浸润深度无关(P>0.05);MMP-7蛋白在食管癌组织中异常表达与细胞分化程度及淋巴结转移和浸润深度有关(P<0.05),但与患者的性别、年龄无关(P>0.05);(2)β-catenin的异常表达与MMP-7的表达有一定的相关性(r=0.487,P<0.05).结论 β-catenin和MMP-7在食管鳞状细胞癌组织中阳性表达可能在食管癌的发生发展及转移中起重要作用.
