Ideological and political theory course is characterized with contemporary features. Its dull theoretical teaching tends to have little appeal for students. Its combination with hot social issues will help to develop learners＇ ability to understand and analyze problems. Theoretical teaching in combination with real social events helps to appeal to students and improve classroom performance.%思想政治理论课具有较强的时代感，但其教学内容又以枯燥的理论知识为主，空洞的说教就注定会失去对学生的吸引力。将社会热点问题与思想政治理论课紧密结合起来，理论联系实际，重视培养大学生认识问题、分析问题的能力，可以有效提高思想政治理论课的教学效果。
