Structure and casting process of a type of cast steel cut-off valve were analyzed. The casting technology and production experience of the steel casting were described, and on the basis of its such features as large size, complicated shape and being easy to generate shrinkage porosity or crack, and a new technology, i,e., scraper moulding core of low cost and skin pouring, was put forward. Adoption of such measures as insulating riser and insulating coverture has effectively prevented the steel castings from producing crack and shrinkage porosity, producing acceptable cast steel cut-off valve. The foregoing will be likely to give a reference to production of similar steel castings.%对遮断阀铸钢件的结构及铸造工艺进行了分析。阐述了该铸钢件的铸造工艺及生产经验,并根据其尺寸大、形状复杂、易产生缩孔或裂纹的特点,提出了低成本的刮板造型制芯、过皮浇注的新工艺。通过采用保温冒口、保温覆盖剂和加强补缩等工艺措施,有效地防止了裂纹和缩松的产生,生产出了合格的遮断阀铸钢件,可供类似铸件的生产提供借鉴。
