叙事、叙事范式与叙事理性——关于叙事的修辞学研究

叙事范式是西方修辞批评中的一个重要理论。本文先从叙事的定义及基本特征入手，然后从修辞学的新视角对叙事范式的丰富内涵进行了详细探讨，涉及叙事的普遍性、叙事的人性论、叙事理性等。叙事范式的提出，对修辞学学科具有重要的意义，它不仅促进了修辞学的叙事研究，更密切了修辞学与文学的关系。文章认为，叙事是一种诱发合作的象征行为，把握叙事范式的丰富内涵对理解后现代背景下修辞学的功能是十分重要的。%The narrative paradigm is a very important theory in Western rhetorical criticism. This paper first defines narrative and describes its basic features, and then examines, from a new rhetorical perspective, the rich implications of this paradigm, touching upon its universality, its nature of man and its rationality. The formulation of this paradigm contributes enormously to rhetoric as a discipline not only by promoting rhetorical research on narrative, but also by linking rhetoric and literature closer. This paper holds that narrative is a symbolic inducement of cooperation, and that g~asping the rich implications of this paradigm is crucial to understanding the role of rhetoric in the postmodern world.
