As the South Korea procured a lot new surface warships,increasing the surface combat strength,forming the maritime advantages against the North Korea,the North Korea has to take the asymmetry measures to respond the great pressure with building a lot air cushion crafts. The thesis describes the types,capabilities,characteristics and deployment of the North Korean air cushion crafts, analyzes why the North Korea develops this kind of surface ship.
