The control demands of the metal silk feeding machine in the matallurgy and casting are analysed.Three types of control technology-the optimum system control,the PLCtechnology and programmable controller are used.If the new technologies are adopted,not only the system reliability can have An great increase but also the system efficiency can have a distinct raising.%分析了冶金、铸造系统中，喂丝工艺的控制要求，采用了三种控制技术：最优控制、PLC技术、分布式控制，使系统可靠性大幅度增强，经济效益明显提高。
