《吐鲁番出土文书》所见“”当为“濄”字考--兼与王启涛先生商榷

摘要

A reexamination of the graph and detailed textual research of “qupo-shuiguo (渠破水 )”suggests that the common word “ ” (guo, blaming and penalizing) in the book Turpan Manuscripts should be explained as “濄” (guo, overflowing), though different people have different ideas about its interpretation and structural form. Since the left structural part of the word can be written as both “言” and “氵,” it can be confirmed that the proper structural form of this word should be “濄 (guo) ,” which means overflowing.%吐鲁番出土文书中常见“”字，关于其释义和字形，历来众说不一。揆诸图片，“”之左旁既可为“言”，也可为“氵”；结合文书上下文，“渠破水”，如果将“”字解释作“责备惩罚”，文意不通。其实，“”的正字当为“濄”，意为“水溢”，即“漫溢”义。
