PowerMILL在汽车模具层切加工中的应用

摘要

基于公司的生产实际，结合CAM软件在我公司应用的特点，论述了PowerMILL软件在编程加工方面的优势，并将其成功地应用到汽车模具的层切加工中。同时，通过借助PowerMILL进行数控编程，引进了高效的可转位刀具。提高了大型数控铣床加工效率，缩短模具生产周期，降低制造成本。%Based on the actual production and combined with the characteristics of the application of CAM software in our company, the advantages that the PowerMILL software in programming and processing was discussed. And it was successfully applied to the stratifying manufacture for auto mold. Moreover, the efficient cutting tool with indexable inserts was introduced through the use of PowerMILL for NC programming. Through that, the efficiency of large NC machine was improved, also the mold production cycle was shortened as well as the production cost was reduced.
