A Comparison of Goddess Images in Chinese and Greek Mythologies

TMythology is a national culture accumulation, reflecting the early human’s imagination and interpretation of the various natural and social phenomena. Goddess, as a cultural phenomenon accompanying with human beings’ development, and has no limit of race, language, or nationality.There is a large number of goddess in Chinese and Greek mythologies, such as the love goddess, the beauty goddess, the moon goddess. They not only have different images and also have common places. In recent years, there are many domestic and international researches on this topic. After analyzing and summarizing, these studiesmainly compared the goddess in Chinese and Greek mythologies from the characters of goddess, the images of goddess, and the ethical and moral concepts of goddess.
