The Teaching of College English Listening Based on Anchored-Instruction

摘要

The traditional teaching model of "playing recordings-doing exercises-checking answers" cannot meet the demand of teaching English listening nowadays.The author finds that students are much more willing to learn when they are taught with the anchored instruction,which basically comprises 4 steps:create a situation;propose tasks;study independently and cooperatively;evaluate the study results.This teaching model arouses the students' interests in learning and makes them more positive,active and cooperative in learning.
