学术英语在中医药专业研究生英语教学中的重要性

摘要

A number of studies revealed that postgraduate students have a strong demand for English for academic purposes (EAP), which includes the ability to read English literature and to write literature reviews and reports. This paper analyzes postgraduates’ EAP competency and discusses the importance of EAP teaching in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) postgraduate program. The paper also proposes that both postgraduate students and the TCM discipline will beneift from a high EAP competency, with which colleges will also be elevated in terms of their international competitiveness.%有学者研究发现，研究生的学术英语学习需求较高，其中包含对英语文献阅读、用英语撰写文献综述和报告的需求。分析了中医药专业研究生学术英语应用能力现状，并且论述了学术英语在中医药专业研究生英语教学中的重要性，提出具备良好的学术英语能力可以实现研究生自身和中医药学科的更好发展，并能够提升高校学科的国际竞争力。
