Objective To compare the clinical effect of erythromycin and azithromycin in the treatment of children with mycoplasma pneumonia. Methods One hundred and twenty-eight children with mycoplasma pneumonia in our hospital were chosen and randomly divided into two groups, with 64 cases in each group. The control group was given erythromycin, while the observation group was given azithromycin. After treatment, the clinical effect, symptoms improvement and radiographic changes in the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The length of hospital stay, cough reduce time, body temperature recovery time and rales disappearing time in observation group were significantly shorter than those in control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate of inflammation shadow recovery in the observation group was significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The therapeutic effect of azithromycin on children with mycoplasma pneumonia is significantly better than that of erythromycin, which could improve the clinical symptoms.%目的：对比分析红霉素与阿奇霉素对儿童肺炎支原体肺炎的治疗效果。方法选择我院128例肺炎支原体肺炎患儿，随机分为两组，各64例，对照组给予红霉素治疗，观察组给予阿奇霉素治疗。治疗后，观察两组患儿的临床疗效、临床症状改善情况及胸片变化情况。结果观察组的总有效率明显高于对照组（ P<0.05）；观察组患儿的住院时间、咳嗽减轻时间、体温复常时间、啰音消失时间均明显短于对照组（ P<0.05）；观察组患儿的胸片炎症阴影的恢复有效率明显高于对照组（ P<0.05）。结论阿奇霉素对儿童肺炎支原体肺炎的治疗效果明显优于红霉素，其能有效改善患儿的各项临床症状。
