镀膜对金刚石与结合剂之间结合性能的影响

     

摘要

采用磁控溅射的方法在金刚石表面镀覆Ti, Mo, Cu以及TiN。测定了镀Ti金刚石的单粒抗压强度,用XPS分析了真空热处理后的金刚石表面结构,利用抗弯强度试验及扫描电镜分析,研究了镀膜金刚石在Co基结合剂中的界面结合状态。结果表明:金刚石镀膜后能够提高其单粒抗压强度。在840 ℃的热压条件下,镀层金属与金刚石能够在局部生成碳化物而形成化学结合,但对结合强度的提高还没有起着主导作用。镀Mo金刚石能够被Co基结合剂很好地浸润,因而结合强度有较大的提高。%Ti, Mo, Cu and TiN were coated on diamond by the technology of magnetron sputtering. The compression strength of the diamond was measured. After diamond was taken heat treatment under vacuum condition, the surface structure of diamond was analyzed by XPS. The bonding states between cobalt-matrix and coated diamond have been studied using transverse rupture strength (TRS) testing, SEM and EDAX. The compression strength of the diamond could be increased by coatings. Only part of coated metal and diamond could be compound carbide and come into chemical bonding under hot-pressing condition of 830~840?℃, which, however, have not greater effect to improve the binding strength. Mo-coated diamond could be rather impregnated by cobalt-matrix, and the binding strength between them has a greater increase.
