中国传统医学语言中的隐喻英译审美表现手段探析

摘要

试从翻译美学的视角来探讨中国传统医学语言中隐喻的英译策略.翻译美学为中医隐喻的英译引入了动态模仿的模式,译者可以通过拼音、直译、借用、补偿以及映射等灵活的模仿方法,直接或间接地将中医隐喻引入目的语,从而将独具美学特色的中医药文化忠实地译出国门.同时,结合美学理论来研究中国传统医学语言中隐喻的翻译,也加深了我们对中医美学的认识,为中国古文和典籍的英译提供一些有益的参考.%This paper explores the translation strategies of metaphors in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)from the view of translation aesthetics.Translation aesthetics leads the mode of dynamic imitation into the translation of TCM metaphors.The translator can render the metaphors into English directly or indirectly in the ways of pinyin imitation,literal imitation,borrowing imitation,compensational imitation and mapping imitation,thus introducing the unique aestheticscolored TCM culture loyally to the world.This research can deepen our understanding of TCM aesthetics and provide some useful reference for translation of ancient Chinese prose and classics.
