Objective To discuss the relevance between disease severity and abnormal behavior in children with atopic dermatitis. Methods Thirty - six children of 6 ~ 11 years - old diagnosed with AD participated in this study. Disease severity was assessed by the Severity Scoring of Atopic Dermatitis ( SCORAD ). Behavioral problems were measured by the Conners Parent Symptom Questionnaire ( PSQ ) and compared with the norms of the Conners PSQ in Chinese urban children. Results The im-pulsivity - hyperactivity index and hyperactivity index of the boys and girls were higher than the norms respectively ( P < 0. 05 ). No statistical significances were noted in conduct problems, learning problems, anxiety and psychosomatic problems between AD patients and the norms of the Conners PSQ ( P >0. 05 ). A moderate positive correlation existed between the hyperactivity index and subjective symptoms index ( boys: r =0.610, P <0. 05; girls: r= 0.533, P <0. 05). No linear correlation existed between hyperactivity index and the SCORAD index ( P >0. 05 ). Conclusion AD patients of 6 ~ 11 years - old show hyperactivity behavior. The level of hyperactivity index is associated with subjective symptom index. Better understanding of the abnormal behavior in children with AD may help with the treatment strategies of the disease.%目的 探讨特应性皮炎(atopic dermatitis,AD)患儿病情严重程度与行为异常的关系.方法 选择6～11岁AD患儿,以AD评分指数(SCORAD)评价患者病情的严重程度,以Conners父母症状问卷评价患儿的行为情况,并且与中国城市常模比较.结果 患儿冲动-多动、多动指数均高于中国城市常模(P＜0.05);品行问题、学习问题、焦虑、心身问题与常模比较,差异均无统计学意义(P＞0.05).AD患儿的多动指数与主观症状呈中度正相关(男:r=0.610,P＜0.05;女:r=0.533,P＜0.05),与病情的严重程度均无直线相关(P＞0.05).结论 6～11岁AD患儿存在多动行为,其多动指数与主观症状严重程度有关;理解AD的行为异常,有助于增强AD的治疗策略.
