美国具有发达的高等教育体系,其中以先进办学理念闻名的威斯康星大学是美国高校改革的一面旗帜。本文以威斯康星大学和南京工程学院为例,比较了中美电气工程专业在专业设置和课程体系的结构、机制和目标上的差异,并分析了这些差异对学生能力培养和人格塑造方面的影响,指出打破固有的专业限制,转变专业设置理念,改变现有课程体系,是当前教学改革的当务之急。%America has a well-developed higher education system, Wisconsin University which has an advanced educational philosophy is a reform banner in American Universities. Wisconsin University and Nanjing Institute of Technology are taken as an example in this paper, the differences of the structure,the mechanism and the target in professional settings and curriculum system between Chinese and American electrical engineering specialty are compared, and the impact of these differences on students' ability and personality shaping are analyzed, it is pointed out that the priority of the current education reform is to break the inherent limitations of professional, change the concept of professional settings and the existing curriculum system.
