论MTI翻译实践报告类学位论文写作中导师的三重作用

         

摘要

目前,可选的翻译硕士(MTI)学位论文写作模式中,翻译实践报告是其中适用面较广、操作性较强的一种。但从实践任务选定到论文选题及撰写,翻译实践报告类学位论文写作过程中仍然存在不少问题。文章作者在教学实践中发现存在问题的一个重要原因是未能充分合理地发挥导师的作用。文章以作者的教学实践为例,分析阐述了翻译实践报告类学位论文导师如何充分发挥“因势利导学生选材、全程参与翻译过程、及早帮助学生选题”这三重作用,以确保学生顺利完成翻译实践报告类学位论文的写作。%Of the writing models available for an MTI graduation dissertation,the translation practice report makes the most applicable and operative one. In view of the fact that there still exist many problems in the writing of translation practice report and that no special at⁃tention has yet been given to this issue. The author makes a research on this subject and finds that the problems existing in students' paper writing has much to do with the supervisor's failure in playing a proper role. On the basis of her own thesis advising experience, the author suggests that,to ensure a student's smooth completion of his/her dissertation, the MTI supervisor should fully play his/her roles in three as⁃pects:guiding students in selecting materials to be translated, participating in the whole translation process, and helping to specify the disser⁃tation topic as early as possible.
