Placard Design in the Integrated Background of Western and Chinese Culture

摘要

As the widely used graphic design model, placard positions at frontier in all models. Since the 19th centu-ry, the foundation, development, and change of every school which influenced design worldwide can be reflected with placard design. The author in this essay, therefore, presented concise introduction and comparison of placard design in the integrated background of Western and Chinese culture. Furthermore, the author also concisely ana-lyzed design style combined with Western and Chinese culture.
