摘要

The title of the thesis indicates the objective of the investigation, that consist of glimpsing "the more important pedagogicals and educational functions in the techniques on the fold in paper".; First of all a view by History has become, to documents to antecedents of the fold, conforming the first chapter "genesis of the techniques of the fold in paper". It is discovered a flexion point, where this activity leaves its symbolic/ceremonial character and its recreational way, to be extended by the pedagogues, mainly by Froebel, that will incorporate the first time the manual works in the educative system and, therefore the folds. This discovery will give rise to the second chapter: "the fold in paper like too for the boy development in the school". From this point, the activity besides being the pedagogical way, is going to become a didactical material of interest, mainly for education of some concepts and relations of geometry, as flat as volumetric, determining the third chapter: "some interesting educational considerations attending the fold in paper".; Observing the direct relation between the folds and geometry, it is possible to be interrelated to the desing, the architecture and to the sculpture. The folds experiences made by artist/pedagogue Josef Albers, in the Bauhaus, marked a second point of flexion, conforming the chapter "the fold and the unfolding in the art: outstanding authors".; With the intention to be able to become a link for future investigations, the thesis finalizes pointing out some conclusion. Of as the following ones can be emphasized: that the activity to fold paper is a tool that is used for the development of the fine manual psychomotricity and learning of some geometric concepts. As well as this activity is useful to develop the space and sculptoric individual sense.
