摘要

The main contribution we try to do with this text is to suggest that the curricula of E.S.O. and "Bachillerato" should be approached mainly from the point of view of CONTEMPORANY ART. We defend that most contents must be taught departing from the art developed after the 60's. So, they should include that wide range of new ways of artistic expression that overshadowed the traditional forms; the so called by Rosalind Kraus: "expanded art".; The avant-gardes should also be in the curriculum as they are an essential step between the "old" and the "new". This does not mean that we are trying to eliminate the traditional expressions of art such as drawing, painting, conventional sculpture or geometry. These subjects will have less importance lessening the status they have been enjoying so far. This has been proved in the analysis of this investigation on the curricula, the text books used in class, the teacher training and teaching practice and on the texts of the main experts on art education. Besides, tradition must be reinterpreted from modernity.; Image is present everywhere and its seductive appealing and intense use by those who control the introduction of one-sided systems of ideas, norms of behaviour and consum as well as political and ethical tendencies, provokes that the teaching in such a subtle field acquires a strong critical content, thus making the autonomous learning of the student easier.; That is why our proposal of curricula criteria is charged with a strong social stress as befits contemporany art, which makes it especially suitable for a comprehensive education as ruled in the educational laws.; Finally, this document presents a series of teaching units which show specifically the theoretical contents developed throughout the paper.
