摘要

该文首先从对语言与文化的关系分析入手,指出了外语教学实践中文化教学存在的一些问题,提出在外语教学中文化教学应与语言教学并重的观点.根据协同课程的基本教学思路,通过文化协同课程中的一个教学个案---西方万圣节与中国鬼节的教学实际,试图从以下三方面证明文化教学在外语教学中的作用:1)文化学习有助于语言能力的提高;2)文化学习有助于树立正确的文化态度和跨文化意识;3)文化学习有助于学生自身的发展.然后,提出了该研究对教学的一些启示.最后,该文指出了文化教学所存在的困难和该研究自身的不足.
