翻译适应选择论视角下的李清照词英译本对比研究

摘要

李清照被誉为中国文学史上的一颗闪亮之星，中西方对李清照词的英译起步都较早，但对李清照词英译的系统研究却有待深入。本文从胡庚申教授提出的翻译适应选择论视角，对李清照词的三个英译本进行对比研究。三个译本是雷克斯罗斯和钟玲合译的《李清照诗词》，收录在《中国女诗人》中的欧阳桢的译作以及收录在《文学与翻译》中的许渊冲的译作。
　　 文中主要探讨了三个问题。
　　 第一，三位译者是如何实现语言维、文化维和交际维的适应性转换的以及他们各自的适应与选择活动有何异同。三位译者语言维的适应与选择性转换从语音、词汇、句法和文本四个层面进行对比分析;文化维的转换主要从词牌名、文化负载词和典故的翻译三方面展开分析。交际维的转换则是考察原文用口语化语言和丰富意象表达作者情感的交际意图是否在译文中得以实现。
　　 第二，客观分析三位译者的译品是否做到了较高程度的“多维度适应”与“适应性选择”，即译本是否是多维转换度较高的翻译佳作以及哪个译本多维转换度最高。
　　 第三，本文尝试建构该理论下中国古词翻译的评析模式。
　　 本文的研究意义在于:首先将翻译适应选择论这个较新的理论应用于李清照词的翻译研究，这是一个新的尝试，拓宽了翻译适应选择论的研究范围。其次，该研究丰富了李词英译不同版本的对比研究。再次，对比分析三位译者如何进行三维转换，得出结论:三位译者都成功的完成了三维转换，达到了较高的多维转换度，综合而言，许渊冲的版本多维转换度最高。最后，建构评析古词翻译的模式完善了该理论并且有助于翻译质量的提高。
