《大禹治水的现实意义及对中华文明的影响》汉英翻译实践报告

摘要

大禹治水是在中华文明发展史上起重要作用的一个历史事件。大禹在其治水过程中克服种种困难最终取得了成功。选择这一课题有利于发掘传统文化的当代意义，同时也有助于外国读者更好地了解中国的传统文化，促进中外文化交流。
　　本文是对一篇学术论文《大禹治水的现实意义及对中华文明的影响》进行的翻译实践报告。本翻译实践报告由六部分组成，第一章引言部分主要介绍了项目背景信息以及报告的结构，第二章为项目描述和译前准备，包括对源文本的来源以及其语言特点的分析，译前准备包括阅读了相关平行文本，以及使用了相关的翻译工具。第三章主要介绍了纽马克的语义翻译与交际翻译理论和语言功能理论。第四部分为本文核心的案例分析部分，在翻译过程中笔者使用了直译法、意译法、省译法与增译法、直译加注法、音译加注法等翻译方法，重点解决了古代文言文翻译这一难题。第五章为项目评估，第六章是整篇报告的分析与总结。笔者通过翻译这篇文章，总结了一些宝贵经验，以期为同类文本的翻译提供借鉴与参考。
