论工程翻译中译员角色的多重性——以川东北天然气口译为例证

摘要

国际化进程扩大和中国经济的发展促进了越来越多的跨国公司和项目进驻中国第二产业。而能源项目在这一行业中占据较大比例。在这一领域由中国和国外能源巨头合作的项目为中国的经济发展带来了巨大利润。中外跨国合资的项目促进了施工现场笔译与口译的需求。
　　学者们在工程翻译的特点和要求方面有深刻研究，但在施工现场译员角色多样性方面的探讨并不充分。因此笔者想就这一领域做相关探讨。
　　由于特殊的工作环境，施工现场口译与其他情景的口译有所不同。其特点决定了施工现场口译的特殊性。笔者通过对个人在川东北天然气项目的口译实践经验分别归纳三个特点和三个要求。
　　笔者根据这些特点和要求，发现施工现场译员角色不仅仅是口译员，还是协调员和助理。协调员角色是协调与其它部门有关的工作，而助理角色是协助部门同事准备和完成其行政工作。这就指向了译员的三个特性:主体性，协调性和辅助性，本文将重点讨论这些特性。通过对其角色多重性分析能够帮助对施工现场口译的研究，进而给出合理的意见与建议。
