摘要

英语词汇教学一直是英语教学领域内广泛谈论的话题。自从英语作为外语和第二语言在中国教授以来,词汇教学一直处于最重要的地位,但同时也是教学中最困难的部分。主要原因就是我们一直在使用一些传统的教学模式,所以词汇教学收效甚微。历来,有好多的语言专家和学者对于词汇教学及方法进行了大量的研究和论述,但那些论著主要注重抽象理论。对于我们高中英语教师来说,这些理论对于搞研究绝对有所帮助,但如果要具体地参考,能真正用于教学中的并不多。 本文主要通过对近几年高考试题的分析、总结和对一百五十名高中学生高中三年的英语词汇的学习情况调查和对调查结果的分析,结合举例说明来展示一些实用的词汇教学的方向和技巧。有效的词汇教学在英语教学尤其是高中英语教学中是非常重要的。对于英语教师来说,在课堂上对所教词汇进行恰当的、有创意的教学是必不可少的。本文所列举的一些词汇教学方法,通过笔者数年的摸索和试用,效果很明显,而且对于英语教师来说可以直接拿来参考,清晰直观。同时,本文对于在词汇教学中如何帮助学生养成好的学习词汇的习惯也有所涉及。
