摘要

本文以英语专业“重中之重”的综合英语教学为切入点,针对其教学现状,提出将折中教学法应用于综合英语教学,以其兼收并蓄、博采众长的优势有效提高英语教学质量,使学生的综合语言技能得以平衡发展,从而在真正意义上实现高效和谐的综合英语教学。 本次实验历时一学期,以英语专业三年级两个由不同教师任教的平行班为研究对象,旨在探讨折中教学法对于激发学生的学习积极性、提高综合英语教学质量的作用与意义。实验中作者在其执教的实验班中采用折中教学法进行综合英语教学,而另一教师在其任教的对照班采用单一传统教学法进行教学。本次研究数据及资料主要来源于两个班学生在实验前后的测试成绩,作者对其任教的实验班学生在实验期间课堂表现的观察及实验后在实验班学生中进行的关于该教学法的问卷调查。 实验结果表明,折中教学法以其灵活的教学手段,能够有效调动学生的学习积极性,提高综合英语教学质量,发展学生的综合语言技能。这一结果对于我国各阶段的英语教学都具有重要的启示作用。
