在翻译补偿理论指导下看民歌翻译得与失的平衡以冰河的《中国民歌选》为文本

摘要

民歌是劳动人民在长期的生活、劳动和斗争中口头传唱，不断加工而成的集体创作。它是集体智慧的结晶，是文化交流的重要途径。作为古老的民俗文化，它在世界的历史舞台上占有非常重要的地位，受到各国的重视。为了国际间的文化艺术交流，各种类型的歌曲翻译是必不可少的。然而民歌的翻译，尤其是中国民歌的翻译长久以来并没有受到足够的重视。中国民歌极具地方特色，多用方言与俗语，翻译时不仅要考虑到字里行间，还要注意音乐的韵律、节奏和声调。中国民歌翻译的难度可见一斑，但同时也为民歌翻译研究留下很大的空间。本文将以中国民歌翻译为主要内容，尝试探索中国民歌翻译中的具体问题与翻译技巧。
　　在资料查询研究中发现，关于中国民歌翻译的资料非常之少。通过比较，冰河的《中国民歌选》是比较权威的一个译本，受到了国内外人士的一致好评。因此，本文对于中国民歌翻译的探讨将以冰河的中国民歌译本为主要的研究对象。
　　作者回顾了歌曲翻译与民歌翻译研究的历史与现状。并对中国民歌的起源、发展与基本特征进行简要的介绍。探讨了适合中国民歌翻译的理论——翻译补偿理论。主要引用了夏廷德关于补偿理论的一些观点。纵观中西翻译史，翻译补偿虽然没有作为一种普遍认可的手段堂而皇之地加以应用，翻译补偿研究更是远远落后于其它范畴，但是翻译损失从翻译活动存在时就一直与翻译相伴。既然有损失，补偿是必然的选择。如何对损失的部分进行补偿，进而保持补偿得与失的平衡，也成为该论文探讨的主要对象。通过研究，发现夏廷德对翻译补偿的分类和原则对中国民歌翻译有很强的指导作用，能够为中国民歌翻译树立一个较为系统的理论框架。最后，通过对冰河的中国民歌译本中典型歌曲的分析总结，归纳出中国民歌翻译的具体方法。
