The Application of Translation Technology in Literature Retranslation Studies

摘要

几个世纪以来，复译现象，尤其是文学复译，一直是学者们研究讨论的热点问题。一方面，人们需要通过文学复译，尤其是经典文学复译作品以满足文化需求；另一方面，文学作品复译质量低下令人失望。于是，有人抱怨文学复译研究滞后；也有人甚至质疑复译存在的价值。有鉴于此，文学复译研究亟需发展。而学者们历来热衷于从传统翻译理论以及个人翻译经验的视角讨论、研究复译现象。
　　人们普遍认为，计算机参与翻译活动就是指无人干预的机器自动翻译。而最初的研究也的确陷入专注于“自动”翻译的研究。事实很快证明，这种研究收效甚微。因为人类大脑十分复杂，产生的语言也千差万别，而有限的计算机技术尚无法辨识。认识到机器翻译的局限性之后，一些研究者开始转而关注翻译记忆的研究。他们进一步开发翻译新技术，让译者可以利用这些技术将之前翻译过的句子或文章储存到电脑中。借此，译者可以提高翻译精确度，而审校者也能提高校对评估译作的效率。
　　本文介绍了翻译技术在文学复译研究的中的应用。首先，作者从利用计算机辅助翻译及软件的角度深入探讨了文学作品复译的问题。重点阐述现代化的计算机辅助翻译技术与传统的翻译及复译理论与研究之间不可分割的关系。其次，本文进一步探究文学作品复译的必要性和重要性，将原作品的复译与原译进行对比研究。研究显示，在翻译技术的协助下，译者可以投入更多精力专注翻译精准性，不会再为一些琐碎小事牵扯精力。本文在详述了计算机辅助翻译与机器翻译的区别之后，进一步阐述翻译记忆的机理与记忆过程，明确指出技术并不能解决所有翻译问题，只能起到辅助作用。只有将计算机技术与人为干预活动有机结合在一起，才能增进翻译或复译研究的发展。
　　最后，本文结合个案研究，着重探讨翻译技术在翻译评估审校过程中的应用，发现利用翻译技术在文学复译作品的翻译风格及语言特点研究中发挥着重要作用，可以为文学复译研究提供有效的数据。
