《语言权利——从言论自由到语言统治》第一章翻译实践报告

摘要

笔者以美国作家瓦内萨·普巴维克的《语言权利—从言论自由到语言统治》第一章为翻译实践基础，探讨了在翻译实践中所遇到的问题及其解决办法。该书是一本专门研究语言权利保护的学术作品，涉及法律、人权、政治、语言学等相关内容。笔者选取了奈达的功能对等理论进行实践指导。
　　本报告主要运用了案例分析法，探讨了术语和长难句的翻译。翻译术语时，笔者运用直译法和直译加注。处理长难句翻译问题时，笔者运用了换序法、拆分法以及重组法，对翻译文本进行整合，以使译文符合目标语的表达习惯，便于目标语读者理解，最终得到较好的译文。
　　在本报告中，笔者探讨了功能对等理论对学术性文本翻译的指导，希望对有关学术作品的翻译提供一定的参考意义。
