初中英语语音教学对提高口语流利性效用的研究

摘要

语音教学是语言教学的重要内容之一，自然规范的语音、语调将为有效的口语交际打下良好的基础。英语口语的流利性不仅反映了学习者的学习水平，也被认为是语言学习成功与否的标志。国内外许多学者对英语口语的流利性已经做了系统的研究，如Lesson，和Fillmore从七十年代就开始对英语口语流利性进行研究，我国学者张文忠、吴旭东、王立非等从九十年代起对英语口语流利性也进行了大量的研究。然而，研究如何提高初中生英语口语流利性的课题相对比较匮乏，教师在日常英语教学中往往更加重视英语语言知识的传授，而忽视了对学生口语流利性的培养，使学生经过多年的英语学习后，仍然难以用英语流利地进行表达思想，他们体会不到英语作为一种获取信息，与他人交流思想，发展思维能力的重要工具的作用。
　　本研究的样本为大连格致中学的一个教学班（共50人），作者采用调查问卷法和对比法对样本进行了一年的跟踪研究，来探究改进英语语音教学对提高初中生英语口语流利性的效用。从语速、停顿长度、语言可接受性和准确性等方面对初中生口语流利性进行测量，应用SPSS和EXCEL软件对前测和后测的试验数据进行分析对比。
　　研究结果表明，改进英语语音教学对提高初中生口语的流利性具有很显著的作用。在教学过程中，教师应该注意更新英语语音教学理念，采用新的语音教学方法，应用新技术，科学地设计课堂活动，开展小组合作的学习方式，给学生提供更多的展示机会，这样才能促进中学生口语流利性不断提高。
