认知参照点原则视角下的语篇连贯分析

摘要

本论文以英语语言学期刊为语料，以认知参照点原则为理论基础，采用综述方法对语篇连贯进行研究。研究目的在于建立一个统一的认知分析模式来分析语篇连贯，验证并扩展认知参照点原则对语篇连贯的解释力。本文立足于科研论文的文体特点，将分析框架分为语篇连贯的微观结构分析和宏观结构分析两大部分。之后按照分析单位由小到大的递进关系细分为词汇、核心句型、语篇结构和语境分析四个维度。
　　研究结果表明实现语篇连贯的根本在于心智连贯的达成，而心智连贯取决于读者的认知机制的运作。通过认知机制的运作，语篇中所提供的信息与读者内心的认知世界相一致相吻合，语篇连贯才得以实现。从另一个角度来看，语篇连贯是作者与读者的互动。认知参照点原则是认知机制一种体现，它可以将看不见的认知活动尽可能充分的展现出来。读者的认知活动是抽象的，而认知参照点模型可最大限度的来表明这一认知活动，解释心智连贯。认知参照点原则中的心智路径是该原则的根本，决定了认知参照点原则的灵活性和有效性。在本研究中认知参照点原则既能够应用于微观单位——词汇和核心句型连贯功能的分析，也能够胜任宏观单位——篇章结构和语境因素的分析。心智路径使心智连贯得以实现，也使得我们建立一个统一的认知分析模式来分析语篇连贯成为可能，将形式，语义，语境等因素囊括其中，既能从句法上解释语篇连贯的表面特点，又能从认知角度解释语篇连贯的认知操作和动态的形成过程。
