一项关于同学反馈及教师反馈在英语作为外语的写作中的作用的研究

摘要

该文作者通过一个实证研究探讨了教师反馈和同学反馈在英语作为外语的写作中的作用.参加该研究的67名学生是作者所工作的广东省嘉应学院外语系的二年级英语专业学生.他们的英语写作课由一个英语为母语的外教讲授,采用了典型的过程写作教学法.作者用问卷和面谈的方式研究教师反馈和同学反馈对他们的外语写作的影响.首先,作者分析了引入到中国的几种主要英语写作教学法,着重讨论了各自的优点和不足以及教师反馈和同学反馈在他们教学中的运用.因为外语写作教学的研究重点正转向写作过程为主导的各种教学法,作者进一步讨论了各种不同类型的教师反馈和同学反馈.其次,作者阐述了英语作为母语和作为第二语言的领域里关于教师反馈和同学反馈对英语写作影响的研究发现.由于这些在世界各地所做的研究的结论差别很大,有一些甚至相互矛盾,作者坚信有必要进行实证研究来调查教师反馈和同学反馈对中国英语学习者的外语写作的实际影响.于是作者在Tsui和Ng于2000年在香港的调查中所用的问卷的基础上,设计出一个新的问卷并和研究对象进行了一系列的面谈,以揭示教师反馈和同学反馈对他们英语写作的影响.最后,作者在该研究的基础上对我们的外语写作教师提出了几点教学启示,并对以后的研究方向提出了建议.
